When the assignment is due tomorrow and nobody at your house knows how to do it
Every family has had this night.
The project was assigned three weeks ago. Your child mentioned it once, vaguely. It is now Tuesday evening, the assignment is due Wednesday morning, and the instructions might as well be in another language. Your child is upset, you are frustrated, and the two of you are about to have an argument that is not really about the homework.
This service exists for that night.

What we help with
Homework across subjects, grades 3 through 12
Math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. If your child is stuck, we can get them unstuck.
Long-term projects
Research papers, presentations, science fair projects, book reports, and the assignments that require planning your child has not yet learned to do. We help break a large task into steps that fit the time remaining.
Assignments nobody understands
Sometimes the rubric is genuinely confusing. We read it with your child, work out what the teacher is actually asking for, and build a plan to deliver it.
Test and quiz review
Focused work the night before an assessment when your child needs one clear session rather than an ongoing program.
Catching up
Students who missed school for illness or travel and came back to a pile of work

How it works
Book a single session. No package, no long-term commitment, no obligation to continue.
Tell us the subject and the assignment when you book so your instructor arrives prepared rather than spending the first fifteen minutes reading the prompt. Upload the assignment sheet if you have one.
Then we work with your child live, one-on-one, through Zoom or Google Meet.

What we actually do in the session
We help your child do the work. We do not do it for them.
That distinction matters more than it may seem at eight o’clock the night before a deadline. A completed assignment your child did not do teaches nothing, and it puts them in a difficult position with a teacher who knows their writing. It also does not help at all when the same material shows up on a test.
So we ask questions. We work the first problem together and hand over the second. We help your child plan a paper and then let them write it. When they are stuck, we find the specific thing they do not understand and teach it, rather than supplying the answer and moving on.
Your child finishes the assignment, and they finish it having learned something. Most nights, they also finish it calmer than they started, which is worth something on its own.

When you need more than one night
Sometimes a homework emergency is just a hard assignment. Sometimes it is a signal.
If we notice a pattern during a session, a real gap in foundational math, reading that is slowing your child down across every subject, writing skills that were never taught, we will tell you honestly. We will not oversell you a program you do not need, and we will not stay quiet about something you would want to know.
You are always free to book another single session, move into ongoing tutoring, or take the information and handle it yourself.

Format and logistics
Sessions are one-on-one and held live online through Zoom or Google Meet. Available in the evenings and on weekends, which is when homework emergencies actually happen. Availability is limited on short notice, so book as early in the day as you can.
